Nubia Peña

Nubia Peña is director of the Utah Division of Multicultural Affairs, whose mission is to promote an inclusive climate for Utah’s growing diverse community. She was appointed to the role in 2019.  Nubia also serves as Senior Advisor on Equity and Opportunity to Utah Governor Spencer Cox. A 2016 graduate of the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law, she has spent over 15 years working as a community organizer and advocate, gaining widespread respect.
