Mike Schultz was elected in 2015 to serve Utah’s 12th House District and was named speaker in November 2023. He was a part of the Utah delegation in Paris that won the 2034 bid award. Schultz learned the value of hard work at a young age, working on family farms and roofing homes. As a general contractor, he has owned and operated several successful small businesses. Schultz, a lifelong Weber County resident, currently owns and operates a family ranch in Croydon. He is a passion for public service, advocating for increased funding for students, conserving water, and investing in transportation infrastructure, all within a balanced budget. He enjoys the Utah outdoors hunting, fishing, and snowmobiling.
