A lifelong resident of Davis County, Stuart Adams serves as an honorary vice chair. He was an active member of the bid delegation that secured the 2034 Winter Games in July 2024. He is a partner in the Adams Company – a real estate, construction, and development company, and recognized as a past Builder of the Year. He served nine years on the Layton City Council and four years in the Utah House of Representatives before his election to the senate. He is former chair of the Utah Transportation Commission and currently chairs the Military Installation Development Authority (MIDA). Adams takes great pride in his community roots, graduating from Layton High School and the University of Utah. He is also a passionate skier.
