Steve Starks serves as vice chair. During the bid, he played a vital role as Olympic and Paralympic advisor to Governor Spencer Cox. Starks plays a strategic role in the Larry H. Miller Company, overseeing the Miller family’s portfolio of businesses and investments. He was previously president of the Utah Jazz and Larry H. Miller Sports & Entertainment, overseeing the renovation of its downtown arena and securing the 2023 NBA All-Star Game. Active in the community, he is a past chair of the Economic Development Corporation of Utah and the Salt Lake Chamber. He was recognized as Utah Business Magazine’s 2021 CEO of the Year and named a Top Forty Under 40 Sports Executive by Sports Business Journal in 2018.
