Sarah Hirshland has redefined the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee with a commitment to athlete well-being and elevating the USOPC to new heights of performance excellence and inclusivity. She led an initiative to incorporate “Paralympic” into the organization’s name, highlighting the equal importance of both the Olympic and Paralympic movements. She implemented robust athlete support measures to ensure a safe and empowering environment for athletes, and her advocacy has driven positive change across the Olympic and Paralympic movements. Through her guidance, the United States Olympic & Paralympic Foundation launched a campaign aiming to raise $500 million to support Team USA. She serves on the board of LA28 and was a key leader in bringing the 2034 Games back to America.
