GOVERNING BOARD
The property, affairs, and business of the Salt Lake City-Utah Committee for the Games is managed by its Governing Board. The board is composed of between 20 and 40 persons. The current governor of the State of Utah appoints two directors; the current mayor of Salt Lake City appoints two directors; the current president of the Utah State Senate appoints one director; and the current Speaker of the Utah State House of Representatives appoints one director. The remaining directors of the Governing Board are nominated by the Nominations and Governance Committee and approved by the Governing Board.
